You might enjoy careers in project management, operations, finance, accounting, data analytics, consulting, software, cybersecurity, or even law. I’d also think about what part of chess you like most. If you enjoy strategy, business or consulting might be interesting. If you like patterns and problem solving, analytics, finance, or tech could be a good fit. If you like organizing and planning ahead, project management or operations may be worth looking into. You definitely don’t need to have it figured out yet. Try a few classes, clubs, or small projects in different areas and see what actually feels interesting to you.

Basically one can build a career path based on your strengths as you've highlighted them to be planning with a hobby in chase.
With good planning strengths you can opt for a careers like being a specialist in project management, monitoring and evaluation, Social development,Child protection services,Human resources management all these orger well with good planning skills.
However you can go a talent based career like being a professional chess player ,as you are aware talent can sometimes reward more than academic based careers at time's.
