Liver Cancer in Vietnam?

I'm Shiloh, an 8th grader who's doing a research project about a country from Southeast Asia, and I chose Vietnam. We needed to study a public health issue there, and mine is liver cancer. I made questions to ask for people related in this field and has seen the impact in Vietnam or globally. To anyone is interested in answering, I would be glad!

- What should the government and society improve in order to prevent liver cancer before the disease develops?

- Where are the areas in Vietnam with the highest rate of liver cancer?

- Which groups of people are most vulnerable to developing liver cancer?

- When did liver cancer start becoming a major public health issue in Vietnam?

- What factors contribute to the high prevalence of liver cancer in these areas and among these populations?

- How is the Vietnamese government preparing to address and prevent this issue in the future?

- Why do hepatitis B and C remain major risk factors for liver cancer in Vietnam, even though hepatitis B can be prevented through vaccination?

- To what extent do social and environmental conditions affect people's risk of developing liver cancer?
