What would a good college be good if I wanted to major in physiology

I really want to learn about the human brain and how it functions and about how it works. I like to understand people better, so I thought this would be the perfect thing to major in #college #career-paths #college-majors

The following link has a list of top undergraduate psychology programs: https://www.socialpsychology.org/gunder.htm

I would take some time to think about what you'd want to do after college to help you decide -- do you want to get a PhD? In that case, I'd look at schools with a good rate of getting students into PhD programs. Do you want to be a working psychologist? Then look for schools who have a lot of graduates doing that.

The rankings can be helpful, but only if they are representing what you actually want to accomplish.

The brain is amazing! It's very cool that you're interested in learning more about it. Given your goal, I would really recommend trying to get into a college with a strong science program, especially in life sciences, even if it does not have an undergraduate major in physiology. Good schools to aim for include (not in any particular order):

- Stanford

- Harvard

- MIT

- Yale

- University of California, Berkeley

- California Institute of Technology (CalTech)

- Johns Hopkins

- University of California, Los Angeles

- University of California, San Diego

- University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
