Hi Raylee,

Very interesting question! The first thing that comes to mind is to tell you to look around. Notice how everyone is on their phones. Personal interactions and direct communications are lost arts. Second, read your texts. As a professor, I have seen the English language slowly fading. If you can keep focused on proper English including syntax and grammar, you will have a huge advantage over your peers. The real problem is the total dependency on tech. Not many people can do math if their calculator or phone dies.

Focus on writing

Hi Raylee,

Technology has impacted our children and teenagers both negatively and postivitely. The exposure you guys are getting today is way more amazing than what i used to get when i was still a student. But the there is always another side to coin. Most importantly Social Media, impacting not just kids maybe adults too to some extent in ways unexpected. People are always looking to compare their lives with the stories and statuses seen online. What we don't realise is that most of these 'candid' photos are in fact photoshoots. Planned and directed carefully. In some ways all of us are addicted to it. But for me personally audiobooks helped me guide myself away from the path of distractions. Find something that feels good for you, that helps you steer away from the multitudes of distractions technology offers and focus on the other great aspects of technology.

Good Luck!
