Yes, it is. But be prepared to specialize in a few different areas. For example, if you are more finance geared, get CPA certified, or if you are more technology, get involved with Quantitative Development.

Really have to agree with the other statement made. I have an MBA and pretty intelligent to boot. But a quick drive down the interstate and you’ll see billboards all around for every college touting an MBA to their mother and brother. This is causing dilution.
Once the cornerstone for epic... it’s lost it’s spark. It’s still a good field, but you really need to consider a specialty. Perhaps it’s finance, perhaps it’s accounting... but general studies is something I caution against.

I actually majored in history thinking I wanted to go on to law school but fell into a business role. I've learned on the job and my experience has taken me further in my career path - however, if I could go back in time, I'd at least have a minor in business.
