Hi! Unfortunately, there is a negative reputation around the salary for these fields. However, like any other field it really does depend on what area of the field you focus. There is never a this or that, yes or no, one or the other answer. Do your research and you will find where you will succeed in happiness and wealth!

Pay for social work positions vary depending on the agency and area of the country. . Most decent paying jobs require a Masters Degree. (MSW) and Clinical (LICSW, LCSW) State license. I suggest you get on the Glassdoor job posting web site so you get a sense of what is really out there for jobs and what they pay in your area.
