Two answers:

The various specialty areas in psychology include forensic psychology, developmental psychology, health psychology, behaviorism, cognitive psychology, psychodynamic, humanistic psychology and more. Depending on your interests, you could choose to specialize in one or more of these areas. Great question when considering psychology as a major and career.

There are over 4 dozen specialties in psychology. Explore the options at the American Psychological website and put "divisions" in the search engine box and you can begin exploring from there. Have fun finding out about all of the many different sub-fields for scientists and practioners. Here's the link: www.apa.org.
