When going for a job in professional sports (particularly basketball) what would you say were your best ways of preparation to obtaining and keeping that job

Im in the 11th grade and play basketball and want to play it professionally some day. So this question is directed toward athletes and people in the business of basketball/NBA #business #sports #sports-management

Get a college degree so you have something to fall back on or learn a trade.

Speak to a former pro, highly respected and get their response and advice. They love providing guidance

Don't be in it for the money, really be a student of the game and enjoy playing it.
