Alena Bennett’s Answer

The main difference between the ACT and SAT is that the ACT has a dedicated science section while the SAT does not. The ACT tends to be more straightforward with the questions and the questions take a little longer to read. The SAT has a wider variety of math topics that it covers. I would suggest looking at the link provided to see in depth the different math topics that each test covers and determining what you are strongest in. I suggest looking online for a free SAT/ACT practice test and taking one of each then comparing the scores to each other and focus on the test you scored the best in.

Yasemin’s Answer

Hi Daniela! I didn't take the ACT so I am not too sure about it, I do know that you get a separate score from the SAT that you can send to colleges to bolster your application. In addition there is a science section as well, that the SAT doesn't have. The SAT from what I remember has math, reading, and writing skills. I'm going to attach a link below to help with the comparison. If you want, you can take both tests, it would only do good than harm if you score well; a couple of my friends did that and it helped them out!

Best of luck.
