If you are interested in modeling, make sure to look for reputable agencies. There are some dangerous people out there who try to take advantage of aspiring models. Since you are in CA, you can look at some agencies in Los Angeles. For example, the website LAmodels has a tab labeled "Become" with instructions on how to submit your headshots. If any agency asks for a meeting, remember that you can always bring along someone you trust. Good luck and be safe.

If you want to become a model I suggest researching different agencies in your area. Once you find some, apply to them not just one agency but many of them in order to expand your options! Now a days, most agencies do a lot of recruiting on social media so I suggest you create a profile on socials like Instagram or Tik Tok where you have photos of yourself. Also use hashtags for exposure and it can help you gain followers and perhaps the interest of an agency. Good luck!

You need to find a modeling agency and fit their requirements for employment. Then they will send you on specific modeling jobs to build your portfolio and get you out there. sign up for any fashion shows even if you work for free you can get pictures that will also build up your portfolio it will show that you have experience. also take a class in make up/stage make up so you know how to be “camera ready” for job assignments.
