Finance would give you the highest returns mostly. Engineers and computer scientists don't make a lot of money usually except if you start up your own company. However, if you want to divert from your list, doctors are the highest paid professionals in the USA.

This is a great Question. Every interest you listed has the potential to provide you with a very good income. The true question is how hard are you willing to work to get it? Will the career you select get you to your final destination? I wish you the best of luck!

Thank you comment icon Doraynn - this is a great question! The first thing you should consider - what is your passion. Things that bring joy and excitement to your daily life are areas where you can excel. Another thing to consider, where is the greatest need in todays environment. There's a high demand for STEM degrees (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) . These areas will have booming careers. Give this some thought as you're deciding next steps. Best of luck to you!! Richard’s Answer

Finance or computer science. Finance might maximize total lifetime earnings, CS might maximize earnings per unit of output (i.e. finance easier in college, CS very hard in college, Financiers might work 100 hrs/week after, CS might get to keep a tight 9-5 schedule

Karen’s Answer

Suggest you write down your priorities in life in order of importance.  Is money #1?  If so, are you willing to sacrifice perhaps doing something you don't enjoy and  giving up time with family and friends?  If being happy tops your list, think about what you would like to do and also what skills you have or would like to develop.  Just remember that money doesn't always equal happiness, and when you're 99, what do you want to have accomplished?
