How long are interviews usually?

I was scheduled for a 45 minute interview and was wondering if interviews are usually that long. Some of the interviews I had before were around 15 minutes. #jobs #interviews

Hi - this is a very good question. The length of an interview can depend on several factors such as the type of job and the experience level that the organization is looking for in a candidate. When I interviewed for a job during high school, I interviewed for a job at a hardware store. It took about 25 minutes and I met with two people and got the job. However, when I interviewed for the job I am in now I interviewed with 8 people and it took all day. The key when interviewing in my view is to be enthusiastic, to do your research about the business and answer the question you are asked! Good luck!

There is no set time for a interview. It totally depends on the interviewer however it also depend on you. To be more specific if you are good technically and your interviewer likes your answers then he likes to continue the interview. However on the other side if you don't know what you are answering nobody likes to waste their time knowing its not productive. On an average interview lasts between 15 minutes to 60 minutes. So ideally my answer is totally depends on you. How you answer a question leads to the next question, So make sure the interview is in your control.

The length of the interview usually depends on how far along you are in the hiring process. The first interview is usually with a HR recruiter. This is known as the "screening interview." The recruiter will ask a few questions about yourself and experience to see if you meet the basic requirements for the role - this lasts anywhere from 15-30 minutes. The recruiter will then share this information with the hiring manager. If the hiring manager is interested, you will be scheduled for a second interview. The second interview can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. It may be on-site but most likely will be another phone interview. The hiring manager will ask more details about your experience and see if you're a good fit for not just the role, but the company itself. If this interview goes well you are either made an offer or be asked to do an on-site interview. This interview will either be a panel interview with multiple people at once, a bunch of mini interviews with several people, or a mix. This interview can last several hours up to the whole day.
