Hey Lucien! [Traditional] Architecture is a pretty cool profession with a wide range of salary. Depends on specialization, are you licensed, are you at a large firm or smaller shop, what is your geo, etc.
It is a long road to licensure - at least 3 years working FT to get the experience, complete exams, etc., but it can take longer - but it is well documented and doable if you are committed to it. Many employers have programs and offer support financially to cover cost of exams, so be sure to ask about this when interviewing!
Consider the types of projects you want to work on and if they are more of a commodity or specialized
Consider where you want to live and what is that cost of living there (spoiler: SF is expensive :)
Consider the type of lifestyle you hope to have and even work on a mock budget
