Discipline. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. If you're struggling with motivation with the things you "like doing" then maybe they aren't things you like that much. I would consider evaluating them, if they hold up to scrutiny, then you can look at the steps below. If not, maybe consider trying something else. Either way, it's always good practice to periodically question the things you like doing. Do they still engage you? Are they fun? Do I feel better about myself and life when I do them? Ask the tough questions. Otherwise, stagnation, resentment, and adverse factors slide in and take over.

Here are some traditional methods and practices to help:

1. Set clear goals: Define what you want to achieve and create a plan to get there. Break down your goals into smaller, achievable tasks that you can work on each day.

I focus on the things that I can control.

All too often many of us become obsessed on things in our life that we cannot control, and become upset or disillusioned because we are unable to change or control them.

Instead, I focus on the things and elements that I can change, control and improve on.

Doing this helps to motivate me and keep my attention where it needs to be. When you focus on the things you can control and improve on, then improvement comes and motivation remains high.

1st step for becoming better is within yourself. Believe in yourself . Start with your basics. Decisions decisions.
Also consider doing small steps and not over stressing yourself. If you do too much you eventually don't follow through with it.

1. To become better, the simplest way (although, often the hardest way also) is to practice doing what you like. Practice makes perfect sounds rudimentary but it is possibly the BIGGEST life hack that most of us don't put much thought to. The idea is that once you have practiced doing what you like/love so much or repeated it so many times that it becomes a part of your subconscious then at that point is when you begin enjoying the true satisfaction and joy of doing what you love. Your mind and body work in unison to keep solving what lies ahead of you when you get into this state of flow with whatever it is that you like doing.

2. To build a practice however, you have to first build a HABIT of it. Build habits around doing what you love. If you love to meditate, build a habit of waking up early in the morning because that is the best time to meditate. So work backwards, decide what you love and what habits will be conducive to help you continue practicing what you love. Routines are severely underrated. Discipline with your routine will unlock so much time in your day that you never thought was possible.

number one thing is to always believe in yourself. Self care is essential. Once you get in the habit of practicing your craft you will get better at doing it. Athletes, singers, even doctors work hard at their crafts and learn new things everyday to get better.

Organize yourself, Set Schedules during the day so you can be better than the day before. Give yourself breaks in between and journal anything important so you can remember it!

In my opinion, consistent practice and discipline are key to become better at things. The task needs to be a priority regardless of the motivation, stress and other commitments. Being consistent ensures you are always thinking about it in the back of your head even if you are not actively doing the task at the moment.
