days...weeks..months...develop a good resume, join local engineering societies, be prepared to move to a city where work is, look up ENR top 500 civil firms
remember to take your EIT last year in college...improves your chances
review civil consulting engineering companies..these are many..all looking for new employees
your goal should be to work..get experience and then get your PE
in Florida there are 1000s of big and small firms...do research
