Begin your journey by looking for colleges that provide a sonography program. Every program has a roadmap that you'll follow to finish your degree or certification and become a sonographer.

The very first thing you want to look into is the program certified. Some programs are not certified. Many jobs want to see the certification. I was fortunate that I was shown how to scan the spine. It helped me to get my job in a chiropractors office. My program was not certified so I was very lucky that I learned that for me to get a job. You will need to know your anatomy and physiology. You can look for books at your local library for information about sonogrophy. Good luck and I hope this helps.
