How can I ensure I get a job after graduating college with a major in business ?
I want to major in International Business and I'm still unsure how I will be able to obtain a job once I graduate college with that as my intended major.

So first just remember NOTHING is guaranteed. Second, do you want a job or a great job? There will be job opportunities after college, but they may not be the best. The first thing you must ask yourself is, do you want a job or a career? A job is one degree, 9-5 work with an average and sometimes below average salary based on your degree. Or do you want a career which requires one extra degree. And even after the second degree, there are no guarantees that great jobs will come knocking at your door. So what you can do is get valuable experience to make yourself more employable and marketable to future companies. Paid and not paid internships help with better job prospects. Studying abroad also helps. Involvement in extracurricular activities related to your field helps. Network, figure out the companies that you would most like to work for. Find out if they participate in career fairs at your school and make sure you sign up for interviews, internships etc. Or you can contact the HR departments of those companies, introduce yourself, let them know your desire to work for the company as an intern etc etc and inquire about available opportunities. Include your resume. Also, VOLUNTEERING is so underrated. Companies love to see that their future candidates have done community service or volunteered.
