How should I choose?

I really wanna become a K-pop idol but my parents want me to do engineering I can become a trainee at the same time but I don’t know how things might work ! Is it really A good choice ?? I’m doubtful because some idols don’t get that much fame so it will be so bad if I leave a job I’m so tensed

Alea’s Answer

(From more of a nontraditional/spiritual mindset & someone who is a singer/songwriter myself kinda in a similar situation at one point!)

Don't let outside people and energies influence the choices you make. Whatever you choose should come from YOU and how you feel. Listen to your heart. It's okay to feel a little hesitant when making huge life decisions but as long it's made with a leap of faith love and passion. Follow your instincts and everything will work out for the BEST and how they are suppose to!

Alea recommends the following next steps:

So how do you know what you're heart is saying? I'M GLAD YOU ASKED
Ask yourself "What is the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think of before I go to sleep?" Your heart holds what is true to you and it can be heard the clearest at these points in the day. The best times to meditate! My bed routine usually consist of visualizing opportunities to do things I am passionate about & meeting new beautiful individuals that reflect me and represent where I am going with my life moving forward. I guess I have the best dreams before I even go into sleep REM.
Also you must be willing to be patient with your dreams and things that are truly meant for you. Trust that even when things don't look AMAZING and peachy perfect 24/7, everything will work out! No matter what.

Hi, Rose,
K-POP is like other music that gains popularity; it tends to rise and appear to have an infinite future, and then another music form appears to replace it. I cannot comment on the future of K-POP, but can only surmise that it will follow previous trends. I admire your interest, and encourage you to follow what you believe will sustain you through life or through significant portions of your life.

Christine’s Answer

I would go for engineering as I've heard horrible things about K pop artists getting abused and taken advantage of. Engineering is something no one can take from you and will always be there.
