What is a good paying career for someone who likes art?
I really like drawing, crocheting and clay and I want to have a career where I can express my creative. I have thought about design or architecture.

Design and architecture are wonderful careers in a broad sense as they encompass a lot of ground and can be applied so many different ways. I believe that they are both good careers for someone who is creative as you are.
The types of architecture you can choose from are residential, commercial, landscape, interior design architecture, urban design architecture, green design architecture and industrial architecture. This is what I mean about having a variety of types of work to decide upon. Your interest in design is the skill you would need for becoming an architect. But as you've mentioned, those are your interests and design and architecture are traditionally well-paying jobs.
But now to your question of good paying jobs in the arts. Some jobs would be art director, art agent or business manager, commercial artist, animator, graphic designer, and video game designer. You can also sell your art privately if you choose to do that simultaneously with a full time career in art. You've mentioned clay and you could also be a potter if you know how to throw pottery on a potters wheel. Crafts people and artists often times sell their work independently or open a store.
To be an architect would require going to college and earning a Bachelor of Architecture. Than you would need to get licensed. A friend of mine went to Texas A & M and became a landscape architect and did excellently in her career. I would suggest reading more about architecture and picking out some schools if you decide that is what you want to do as a career.

High level administators and college educators seem to make the most. This includes art administrators and college teachers. To teach at a junior or a community college you would need a minimum of a master's degree.
Other jobs that pay well are found in graphic design, interior design and fashion design.
People in art animation careers also seem to do well.
