What are the best things of being a child care worker?
I am a middle school student and have always wanted to be a child care worker but I don’t know if I would like it. If any one has been or is a child care worker could you share some experiences you had?

Hi ! As an au pair my aim is to take care of the kids, so here some of the best things I have experienced.
Building strong connection : I am always with the kids and they consider me as their big sister. They give me a lot of love, and I think it is one of the most beautiful things that you can have.
Teaching and learning : it is a real exchange, you can learn a lot from them and also you can teach them so many things.
For me, helping children grow up is incredibly satisfying and you play a vital role in their development.

Hi Rosemarie! This is a great question! Working in childcare can be so fun and rewarding. Working with children and helping children brings a smile to my face! Working with children can also be hard! I can think of a few things that may help you.
1. Getting started. It can be scary working with kids for the first few months because they are intimidating and can challenge you in so many ways. It was difficult for me at the beginning because they didn't really know me and I had to get to know each of them. Every child is different and it takes time to get used to how to best take care of them or teach them.
2. Once you've got the hang of it, it starts to become more fun! The kids I worked with were SO cute. All the hard work will pay off when you see the kids having fun and learning.
3. It's exciting to spend every day with the same kids. I got to know them and their families. I loved being their teacher!
4. It's tiring! You have to make sure you take care of yourself when you're off from work and on the weekends. You'll need to vitamins and get lots of rest!
5. Try to be patient. Kids can get loud! Kids can also be super sweet and quiet. Just keep in mind you'll be teaching a lot of different kids with different personalities and that requires patience.
I hope this helps!!
