Hello, Alana !

At NYU, you can major in Anthropology, Anthropology and Civilization or Anthropology and Linguistics. NYU does not offer courses in Theology or Christianity. McGill has an Anthropology major - it sounds along the lines of "cultural" but your degree would be in Anthropology. For McGill, check out whether they focus on Canada, though, because the school is in Canada.

McGill doesn't seem to have Theology but they have Islamic studies. Your best bet would be to visit their websites at the links below and read more about both colleges. I would also advise looking into colleges in Minnesota. Also consider on line Theology courses as well. There should be a lot of writing courses offered on line as well. You have a lot of options to make a choice that will serve your goals.

Most colleges offer classes in writing and languages, so it will just be a matter of reading their websites and you could visit the local colleges in person. Best wishes to you !
