What do people normally do in jobs related to math?

I'm wondering if majoring in math is the correct pathway for me as I want to find a job in the future where it'll match my interests.

First and foremost, identify your interest and passion. Then, whether choosing to major in mathematics will be a secondary issue.

If your interest and passion is in a discipline that is closely related to mathematics, you have the option to major in that discipline and minor in mathematics.
