Email is one of the digital channels marketers use to communicate with their audiences. It involves collection of first party data, customer consent to receive marketing messages and options to unsubscribe or update preferences based on the type of messages the customer would like to receive.

There are many email and CX marketing technology platforms available where email is part of a holistic customer journey to drive customer engagement and loyalty for brands. Engagement data can be used to deliver the next best action depending on how the customer engages with, or does not engage with, your marketing messages. This can include updating subject lines, sending an offer, or testing different messaging, channels, and calls to action in order to get the customer to complete the marketing objective (click, buy, sign up, etc).

Emails are still a very popular channel marketers use in their overall marketing mix. It provide insights into customer engagement and interest in a brand and its products and services. And is a channel that can be easily personalized for better relevance. It is important that marketers manage their email list to ensure customers that are not engaging or where emails are bouncing/undeliverable are removed from the list in order to maintain a high deliverability rate.

Hi there' email.markerting is a system that involves sendings multiple emails of your promotion or offers or website all at once at different times of the day and it's automated so you set it up and you insert all your emails lists and they will get it but the question you asking isn't how is why what it's all about? It's about reaching as many people as possible constantly without having to do it manually so you can do other things and work on different tasks, it save time and you have more chance to reach way more individuals this way.

When I got started working in Marketing just over two years ago, I had no clue about what a company did on their end to send an email to their customer. I thought it was easy as writing the email and hitting a button. Email marketing is a very complex form of marketing that involves a lot of moving pieces and teams that work together to get that email from an idea to the inbox of a customer. Here are some of the teams that work on a marketing email:

1. Creative team (usually an internal or external creative agency - determines the design, imagery, copy (language), visual themes)

2. Marketing team (determines the strategy, marketing approach, intention of the communication to the customer)

2. Legal & Compliance (reviews the email to ensure the content is in compliance with applies laws and regulations)

3. Email delivery or execution team (works on the data needed to launch an email)

There are other disciplines involved in getting an email from point A to point B, but these are a few.

Additionally from a CX point of view, email marketing plays a crucial role in building and nurturing relationships, since it provides a direct and personal line of communication with customers making them feel valued and understood.
