Margaret Torrini

Graduated in Switzerland in Lausanne in 1976, my career began after being at the International Competition in Varna, Japan. Then she continued in Norway, Belgium, and at the Ballet du Nord as principal for ten years, under the direction of A. Càta, disciple of Balanchine. Back in Switzerland, I create and direct ISDanse which is a scenic place with a unique training. This double training including that of retraining for professionals who want to become a dance teacher and choreographer, and that for adults to become a professional dancer-choreographer with a specialization in oriental dance, as a pioneer in the field of oriental dances.
