How to pursue ballet professionally as a beginner?
I am currently 17 and in the 11th grade. I started ballet in June (2025) when I was 16. I would have started sooner if it weren’t for financial restrictions. All of my teachers say that I’m doing great, and that they think I can get into a program, but the only problem is my age. All of the companies that I have found only focus on children. Is there anyway that I can get into a program at a late age?
What colleges would you recommend for potential film major and dance? Preferably located in California?

I’m a junior in high school and I want to be a professional ballerina, I’ve done dance since I was 8 and love it, but I’m confused where to go after high school. I am 15 and I am in high school. I did ballet for 2-3 years but the studio closed down and I never got back into ballet. know I am trying to because I loved it so much and I still do. I don't know what studio would be suitable for me and it has been so long that I don't where to start and how to get back into ballet.
As a ballet student with big dreams is it possible to go to college while still being in a professional company?
I am a 14 year old freshman in high school and I am being asked this question a lot, but I never know how to answer. I go to an arts school in the Bay Area and I train at professional ballet school that I directly connected to a company.
