Prior to Imgur, Bob was Senior Vice President of International Development at Fandom by Wikia (user powered, pop-culture encyclopedia), where he opened sales and marketing offices in London, Tokyo, Miami (LATAM), Singapore, Sydney and Munich. From 2009 to 2015, Bob was SVP Global Sales at Wikia, having recruited, formed and managed the initial sales organization in San Francisco.

Earlier in his career, Bob served as SVP Publisher at IDG Entertainment (GamePro magazine and GamePro Online), VP National Sales at AOL GameDAILY (formerly Gigex) and held executive and sales management positions at LookSmart (a syndicated search directory), Dialpad Communications (VoiceOverIP) and CNET Networks (technology news network).
