Marcia Briones

I've been working with Communication for more than 20 years, a field that inspires me to always reach excellence.

I started my degree in Advertising, graduated in Public Relations, became a Master's in Social Communication, and attended a Marketing & Branding MBA to further link the marketing vision with my background as a Communication Specialist.

I am currently working for Dell Technologies as a Marketing Communication Advisor.

Before that, I started my official leadership career by managing the marketing area of GoodWe for Latin America and GE Solar Inverter for Brazil, working on communication strategies for the market of solar inverters and energy storage solutions.

Prior to that, for almost five years I was responsible for the global marketing communications of WEG electric motors unit, coordinating communication strategy, brand, and relationship for new products and portfolio motors, solutions, and segments; by developing success cases and content marketing, marketing campaigns, media management (internal, external and digital) and communication to the B2B market in general. I was also coordinating Gearboxes and Geared Motors marketing teams and WEG Digital Solutions, through the products related to WEG Motors.

Before joining these companies, I worked for more than 15 years in the fields of marketing, advertising, and communication strategy (online and offline) to build brand recognition and reputation (B2B and B2C) at various communications agencies, where I gained extensive knowledge of branding and networking opportunities, brand exposure, often using Adobe programs - which I taught in technical schools.

As international experience, I joined an academic mobility to Lisbon (ERASMUS), attended Ethnology at Sorbonne in Paris, and achieved an advanced level of English in London.

In parallel, I dedicate myself to playing bass, which connects me, through music, to what I like to do most: dealing with communication and people.
