Hi Olivia,

I'm so sorry to hear about the struggles and challenges you are dealing with.

To answer your question, I have a high school diploma (and a college degree). I highly recommend finishing your high school education - whether it's through a formal high school education or GED program. Both are acceptable forms of completing a high school education for employers and colleges if you are thinking about pursuing higher education. Education does matter to employers, and they like to see a completed high school education. And depending on what you plan to do for work/career, a high school education (or college degree) may be required.

There are many different types of high school education programs that allow for fully online learning or an in-person/online hybrid approach. I suggest seeing what types of programs your state has to offer. Lots of times you can find state or locally funded programs that offer online or hybrid programs to complete your high school education.

I hope this helps. Good luck!
