Great question and forethought. You just demonstrated one helpful skill: 1. Looking ahead. Each week take a day to review the next couple weeks ahead. Allocate time for key school projects, papers and self care time.
2. Be present mentally in class. Social media and texts will be there after class.
best of luck in the next year!

During the summer before, it is important to enjoy the time before college. While enjoying the summer you can also practice good college tips such:
1. Getting yourself organized: Understanding what to pack/bring to school, what classes/requirements need to be completed, and arrival times and scheduling are key to feeling less stressed on move-in day
2. Building good habits: Eating healthy and exercising are great ways to build a healthy routine for yourself prior to going to college. These habits will translate to higher energy and a healthier lifestyle during your first year at school.
Good luck!
