What opportunities should I pursue in college to work towards my dream job of regulatory law with a specialty in the tech sector?

I'm currently a high school senior. How do I gain the practical engineering knowledge in tech fields to work towards this career as someone majoring in a humanities field?

Warren, if you want to specialize in the tech sector after law school, why choose a major in humanities? The best advice I got as a young college student who wanted to go to law school was to pick a major that I enjoy and that I could be successful in. You don't have to be a political science, criminal justice, or English major to get into law school. Your law school application will be far more interesting to the admissions committee if you've forged your own path in biology, computer science, music, whatever! So if the tech sector is your ultimate career aim, then by all means, focus on that in college. You'll be able to join student clubs that match your interests, and you'll be setting yourself up for summer internships for your major as well. All of that will be incredibly valuable to future employers post-law school graduation.
