How did you study for online classes?

I work a full time & part time job will going to school. I have to take some online classes to make it work with my work schedule, but these classes are difficult to study for with no in person class and my professor recommends studying 4-5 chapters to study for finals with no study guide.

Balancing online classes and work might seem tough, but you can do it with the right steps. Start by setting up a quiet study area and use tools like Notion or Trello to keep track of your schedule and deadlines. Google Calendar is great for reminders, and try to study at the same time every day, even if it's just for 30-45 minutes. Focus on tough subjects first. The Pomodoro Technique, with apps like Focus Booster, can help you concentrate by studying in 25-minute blocks with breaks. Use quizzing and spaced repetition with tools like Anki or Quizlet to reinforce what you learn. Break chapters into smaller tasks and set easy-to-reach goals. Watch recorded lectures again and take notes using Evernote or OneNote, and use resources like Khan Academy or YouTube to learn more.

Join study groups or discussion boards on Slack or Discord to clear up any doubts. Track your tasks and deadlines with Todoist or Asana. Don't hesitate to email professors or visit virtual office hours if you need help. Set both short-term and long-term goals, and treat yourself when you reach them. Take care of yourself by getting enough sleep, exercising, and eating well to stay focused. Apps like Headspace or Calm can help you relax. For exams, break the material into sections and use Quizlet for flashcards or practice tests. Keep in touch with professors to stay on track. With steady effort and smart strategies, you can successfully balance online classes, work, and personal life. You’ve got this!
