How can I connect with the right professionals or recruiters to land a Full Stack Developer or Java Backend role in the U.S.
Hi Network,
My name is Shaik, and I’m excited to connect with professionals here. I’m currently seeking full-time opportunities as a Full Stack Developer or Java Backend Engineer in the U.S. With 4+ years of industry experience at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from San Jose State University, I bring a strong foundation in building scalable backend services and responsive web applications.

• Fix up your LinkedIn — Make sure your job titles, skills (like Java, Spring, React, etc.), and any cool projects are front and center. A short tagline like “Looking for Full Stack/Java Backend roles” helps too.
• Reach out directly — Don’t be shy about messaging engineers or hiring managers. Something simple like, “Hey! I’m trying to break into backend roles — any tips or connections you’d recommend?” can go a long way.
• Join tech communities: Discords, Reddit , or even LinkedIn groups. People really do share job leads and referrals in those.
• Job boards that work : Try Hired, Wellfound (used to be AngelList), and Otta. They’re better for tech-specific roles.
• Show off a project or two :A GitHub project with clean code and a simple write-up can really help your profile stand out to recruiters.
Keep putting yourself out there you’re already doing more than most by asking questions and building a network!

1. Optimize your profile: Use a profile picture. Write a clear and concise headline like 'Looking for Full Stack Developer Roles/ Java Backend". In About section - highlight your skills, interests and enthusiasm for backend development
2. Update your Resume - Include keywords on the skills you have worked, Project Experience etc. Concentrate on the job description of the role and include the keywords. Recruiters search for this
3. Start Networking: Follow companies you are interested in. Connect with Recruiters, Project Managers and send a connection request with a short personalized message
4. Reach out: Don't hesitate to message professionals and politely ask for advice or insights into the roles they're in

I agree with both Dakota and Monica. You're LinkedIn profile is a great place to start. Update it to be sure it's current. Use keywords and skills (recruiters search for both of these). Build your network by connecting with people in industries or companies you're interested in. Check out the jobs tab on LinkedIn - several companies share who the Recruiter is for openings, connect with Recruiters as well.
Soon your network will be flourishing!
