Hi Tiffany,
Martha and Susana have given you steps to check your CNA license. I noticed you also mentioned wanting to be a traveling physical therapist, so here are two career paths you can consider:
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA): PTAs work under the guidance of physical therapists and provide direct patient care. To become a PTA, follow these steps:
1. Get your high school diploma or GED.
2. Complete a 2-year Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance, usually at a community college.
3. Pass the National PTA licensure exam.
Physical Therapist (PT): To be a physical therapist, you need a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Here's how:
1. Get your high school diploma or GED.
2. Complete a 4-year Bachelor's degree.
3. Enroll in a 3-year Doctor of Physical Therapy program, which includes classes, lab work, and clinical rotations.
4. Pass the National PT licensure exam.
Good luck with your studies! Both PTAs and PTs can work as traveling therapists, which is a wonderful way to explore the country.

That's an amazing goal. Keep it up! Below is some pathway to check the validity of your CNA license:
Step-by-Step: Check Your CNA License Status (Arkansas)
Go to the Arkansas CNA Registry:
Visit the Arkansas Department of Human Services CNA verification website:
https://arcna.ahs.arkansas.gov/
Search by Name or Certification Number:
Enter your full name (Tiffany) or your CNA certificate number if you have it.
You can also try searching by Social Security Number (SSN), depending on the options given.
Check the Status:
Look for terms like:
“Active”
“Expired”
“Lapsed”
“Inactive”
If it’s expired, they’ll often note the expiration date and last employer.
Contact for Help:
If you’re not finding your record, call the Arkansas CNA Registry Help Desk at:
501-682-1807
If Your CNA License Has Expired:
You may need to renew it or retest. In Arkansas, if you haven’t worked as a CNA for 24 consecutive months, your license may become inactive, and you may have to retake the exam.
BEST OF LUCK!!!!

Hi Tiffany - I admire your passion for helping the elderly stay in their homes. As the Baby Boomers continue to age, I suspect there will be a lot of demand for this.
Please see link below for general answer - in case, your CNA is not from your current state. If it is, here is the verification link = https://healthy.arkansas.gov/boards-commissions/boards/nursing-arkansas-state-board/renewal-of-arkansas-license/license-verification/
Good luck!
