Why do people choose to go to trade school over college ?

I’m not sure which one I’d rather do. I feel it comes down to passion, right?

These programs are usually shorter than college, often lasting between six months and two years, so you can start working and earning money faster.

Trade school also costs less than a four-year college, which means you're less likely to end up with a lot of student debt. If you enjoy working with your hands, solving practical problems, and learning by doing rather than sitting in lectures, trade school could be a great fit.

Another reason people choose trade school is job stability. Skilled trades are essential in every community, and there's always a need for people who can build, repair, and maintain things.

On the other hand, college is more focused on academic learning and exploring different subjects. A four-year degree can open doors to a wider range of jobs, like in business, education, healthcare, etc. College also gives you more time to figure out what you want to do if you're still unsure. However, college can be more expensive, and it usually takes longer before you start earning a full-time income.
