What jobs are out there, and high schools as well?

Hey! I'm Sana, a 6th grader, and I'm not so sure about my career. I was wondering if anyone could state their job and explain things about it and I'll see if that might be something I would wanna do! Right now, I'm kind of interested in Jobs that have to do with law or any teaching jobs. I also am wondering about good high schools. Thanks!

Sana, you remind me of a girl I met during a school event a few years ago.
She was around your age, bright-eyed, curious, and a little overwhelmed because everyone kept asking her, “So… what do you want to be?”
She felt she had to know the answer right away.

Here’s the thing she learned... and you can borrow this too: careers aren’t a straight tunnel... They’re more like doors you slowly open as you grow.

Let me give you two “inside views” from fields you already like:

1. Law
I’ve met people who went into law, and the common thread wasn’t drama or courtroom action... They’re people who care about fairness and enjoy connecting ideas! Their work is often calm but meaningful, helping others understand their rights and solving problems with clear thinking If you like reading, figuring things out, or speaking up when something feels wrong, law might be a natural fit.

2. Teaching
Many teachers discovered their passion simply by realizing they enjoy explaining things. Teaching is part patience, part creativity, and part knowing how to make ideas click. If you find yourself helping friends understand schoolwork or enjoy making things easier for others, teaching could be a direction worth exploring.

About high schools:
The “best” high school is the one that challenges you but also supports you.
Look for a school with good counselors, strong clubs, debate teams, or student leadership roles... those help you explore law, teaching, and many other paths without pressure.

You don’t have to choose your future now.
You just need to follow your curiosity, one small door at a time, and your direction will get clearer as you grow.

If you’re already thinking about careers in 6th grade, that’s awesome! Jobs in law can include being a lawyer, judge, legal researcher, or even someone who helps people understand their rights. Teaching careers can range from elementary school teachers to professors who teach college students. As you grow, you’ll learn what subjects you enjoy most, and that will help you decide which path fits you.

Tools like AI Interview Questions And Answers (and platforms such as LockedIn AI) can later help you explore what different jobs are like by simulating real career-related questions. For now, focus on choosing a good high school with strong academics, clubs, and programs related to law or teaching—like debate teams, mock trial, or tutoring clubs. These experiences will help you discover what you truly enjoy.
