Depending upon what jobs you may be interested in, you do not always need to have a technical degree. There are endless opportunities in a technology campus that do not require a technical degree. If you are inquisitive and creative, technology is a great place to work in! I work with many people who have degrees in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Project Management, Business, Law, Art, etc. who have jobs such as Chief Network Officer, Vice President of Legal Affairs, Customer Communications, Program Management, Solutions Architect, etc. Sometimes its best to have a broad degree and then take some classes that interest you in technology. Also, look into internships that provide hands-on experiences so you can decide first hand if you like working for a particular company. Do not limit yourself:).

2. Find out more on these careers and determine what you have interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjects in colleges

To prepare for interviews, start by building a small portfolio - you have already created or things you are experimented with. It shows companies what you can actually do. A degree in computer science or Information technology is a strong option. what matters most is practicing real skills like programming, problem solving and understanding how technology works. One of the best pieces of advice I ever received about preparing for a job interview was to put myself in the shoes of the interviewer.
One of the ways to do that is to have a really good understanding of the role that you're interviewing for, and to provide your perspective on how the person that is chosen for that role can help the company achieve its goals and mission.
Importantly, please know that you don't have to be an executive or senior leadership to positively impact a company. Literally anyone who works at a company can make an impact through their efforts and commitment to a role. The interviewer wants to understand how your skills, experiences, and individual perspective can help their company and the people that work there.
You can research the company to better understand their goals (maybe there are some news articles or press releases?) and then come up with some original ideas on how you can help. What specific skills will help you and what is the approach you would take? If possible, try and provide some specific examples!
The interviewer will be impressed by the time and effort that you put into preparation, as well as your understanding of the company's "big picture".

Hi Kit, i'd say first thing to do is don't put pressure on yourself to get a 'high paying job'. The money will come, don't worry. To answer your question though, research the types of jobs that you think interest you, then check out the job requisites. Usually they'll state their desired education for the candidate. Safe bets would be anything in computer science, engineering, math, business, etc. Then, I'd research the company a bit prior to entering the interviews. Prepare yourself with company and industry knowledge along with what YOU want out of your job. Remember, they WANT to hire you, give them a reason, and make sure that you feel just as excited about working there as they are to have you.
