Hi Tristan,
Numbers are important in college admission, so maintain a high GPA and get high SAT/ACT scores if they are required in your application. Take challenging classes like AP or IB to increase your GPA. If available to you, you can also do dual enrollment or do an online course in something that interests you.
But colleges are not only looking at your academics, they want to know what else you bring to the campus community. Get involved in extracurricular activities that interest you. If you know which career you want to choose, you can do activities (clubs, projects, competitions, internships, volunteering etc) that go in that direction. But you can also do other activities that interest you. Maybe you are creative or play a musical instrument. Maybe you excel at a sport. Or maybe you have responsibilities at home that take up a lot of your time or you are working a job. All of those are extracurricular activities, i.e. activities that you do outside of school, and they tell something about you as a person. Aim to show consistency and impact rather than a large number of short-term interests. Pick something that interests you not just something that ticks a box.
I hope this helps! All the best to you!

If you already know what you want to do, consider upskilling by doing short courses and get work experience. Participate in extra curricular activities at school that align with your career. And get exceptional grades.
Conduct yourself well on social media as well. Align your hobbies with your desired career path too.
