Hi Kylie, staying organized can really help you balance work and school. Using a planner, calendar, or list to track your tasks and deadlines can make sure you get everything done on time. Remember to plan some study time too, so you don't have to cram for exams or assignments. Keeping your materials in order is also important. Having a strong support system is key to managing school, work, and life. It helps reduce stress, boosts your motivation, and improves your overall well-being. You can do this!

Taking internships while you're in university is really important. As an undergraduate, it's often easier to land an internship, giving you a head start on gaining valuable work experience. To fit this in, consider taking fewer classes each semester. Many companies prefer candidates who have real-world experience over those who just finish their degree quickly. I decided to take an extra year for my studies, focusing on fewer classes and gaining professional experience, and I believe this choice will make finding a job after graduation much simpler.

Balancing everything can feel like a tightrope walk, but remember, you don’t have to give 100% to everything at once. Instead of juggling school, work, and internships all day, try focusing on one thing at a time. Be a student in class and an intern at your internship. Stress often comes from worrying about your future when you should be studying.
To stay sane, choose three important tasks each morning—one for your grades, one for your career, and one for yourself. Once you complete them, consider the day a success. Set aside a specific time each week to handle future tasks like applications or budgeting, so they don’t interfere with your study time. It’s fine if the balance changes weekly; some days you’ll need to study more, and other days you’ll focus on work.
Remember, you’re building a strong foundation, not just a transcript.

Hi Kylie, hope you're doing well :)
I recommend you prioritize your studies; it is very important to have the basic concepts clear, so that you can understand what you are (or will do) at job. Also remember that on internships you are learning too! so see both (school and jobs/internships) as a complement. Use tools as IA to make concept charts, resumes, flowcharts, etc. in order to help you to optimize your time at studying or doing homework, obviously don´t let it to do all, but use it as an important tool. Keep in mind how you learn and the ways of learning.
Remember that you are doing well!! don't run, take your time to enjoy the energy, time and mind you're investing at school and internships.

Great you are thinking about and questioning how to balance it all. Keep in mind, that you will have time to address your future which probably includes many years.
For now, focusing on doing well in school, while maintaining good relationships and a healthy lifestyle, will prepare you for what is to come. Try to prioritize what is important to you now and in the future. If you have a specific career in mind, you can start exploring possible internships in that area. I'd say don't worry too much about money for the future. Try to save what you can and practice living within your budget.
Also remember to enjoy life and always give thanks for what you have.
With every good wish and many blessings,
Karen
