Hello! As a Santa Clara alum, I can tell you that the university has really boosted its STEM programs. When I was there in 2018, computer science was part of the College of Arts and Sciences. You should check if Cal Poly SLO or SCU now offers computer science through their engineering schools. Attending an engineering school can really help you stand out.

Separately, SCU is in Silicon Valley, which is great for local networking. The university hosts career fairs, and many of my friends landed internships and jobs from these events. So, if you're into computer science, SCU's location could be a big advantage for you. I hope this helps!

Ziqian, this question is hard to answer because almost no one has gone to both Cal Poly SLO and Santa Clara University. I suggest you could get some answers if you divide it into two separate questions something like this so people from each school could answer:
1. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Cal Poly SLO for computer science?
2. What are the strengths and weaknesses of Santa Clara University for computer science?
