If you were starting over in this industry today with the current entry level landscape, what is the single most valuable skill or project you would prioritize first? And what is one thing you wish you knew back then and wish you had known before jumping in?
(Ideally/preferably a career aimed tech related, but if it's not, that's alright as well). Though high level insights from any fast evolving industry are highly valued (opened to any fields)

Try focusing on one popular skill and see how you can use it to solve real-life problems. If I were just starting in tech today, I'd look into AI tools, data analysis, or automation and work on a small project to show what I can do. You don't need to know everything or have a ton of certificates to begin.
I wish more beginners knew they don't have to wait until they feel completely ready to apply for jobs. Start building your portfolio, get hands-on experience, and learn from any feedback you receive. Your first job might not be your dream job, but it can lead you there.
Remember, skills get you noticed, but problem-solving, communication, and a desire to learn help you grow. Start small, keep at it, and don't be afraid to be a beginner!
