Sarah’s Answer

Northern VA has excellent pay although the cost of living is higher, but living a little farther out from you work is normal here and it lowers the cost of living which makes that paycheck a good one. My neighbor is a charge nurse in an ER and she makes well into six figures.

  • Licensed Practical Nurse and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN): https://money.usnews.com/careers/best-jobs/licensed-practical-and-licensed-vocational-nurse/salary

By the way, don't forget to factor in cost of living when thinking about how far a dollar goes! $10 in Indiana or North Carolina goes a lot farther than most places in California as an example.
