Work on your technical nursing medical skills and also focus on your people skills. Empathy , kindness and the ability to listen are great skills as you're dealing with people who are not in 100% health and are possibly scared about what could happen next.

To be a good nurse you must have excellent communication, Work well as a team and individually. Excellent memorization and love to learn. A great nurse is someone who is caring and shows it by making sure that you communicate any concerns you have , be a excellent observer , someone who notices things that are out of the ordinary and bring them to the doctors attention. Someone that makes sure they are knowledgeable about each of there patients you should always know what is going on with your patient at all times.
