what are some of the best universities for mechanical engineering?

my interest in my major has shifted and I would like to get a grasp for what the best colleges that produce some of the highest number of eployed graduates in their field of study are. I am beginning research and would like outside opinions as well. #engineering #mechanical-engineer

US News and World Repot is my go to source. Here's the link to the rankings for the best mechanical engineering schools:

The first 12 schools are shown for free, but the site wants you to pay $30 to view more schools and get more information about each school. In my opinion, I think it's worth it to pay the $30 for unlimited access. I did this when I was researching graduate schools. It could potentially save you thousands of dollars in tuition. For example, you don't want to pay lots of money to attend one school when there is a second school that has an identical (or better) ranking but charges a good bit less money.

Hi Matthew, depends on the region. Brunel University in UK is top school in Mechanical Engineering. Also TUM in Germany. As for the states, there are many but Standford, Caltech, Berkeley and much more schools in California.
