Do you know what it takes to become an architect?

Hi..! I'm a high school student and I'm interested to know what do I have to do to become an architect?, I only know that I have to go to college or university and get an architect title, but after I don't know what do I have to do..
I'm from El Salvador and in my country ain't to hard to reach the career, but in the U.S, I don't know how it works.
Which steps do I have to follow?

I know some High schools do offer classes or programs that can introduce you to some of the to basic study and industry fundamentals. It may be worth reaching out to a advisor at your school to see if there is such a program or class.

It takes about seven years from start of school - through obtaining appropriate academic and practical experience to become a licensed architect in the USA.
