[closed] What is the best way to stay hydrated for those of us who strongly dislike water?

Hello,

My name is Aimee and I am a current business major in college. I love to learn about management and the business industry. I would like to take the opportunity to ask any nutrition and sports therapy professional, "what is a better way to drink enough water daily when I do not like it?" I would like to stay hydrated because of all of the benefits, yet I still struggle with it because of the plain, dull taste to it. I generally feel better and am at the top of my game when I take care of myself and drink enough water.

Thank you kindly for your suggestions! #sports #therapy #nutrition #wellness

Get juicing! Drinking fresh vegetable and fruit juice is a great way to maximize your intake of liquids with the extra boost of nutrients. Green juice is like liquid nutrients, ready to be absorbed in your system quickly and efficiently.

Water is crucial to maintaining a hydrated body, which means an efficiently functioning body. You need the right foods and fluids to properly deliver nutrients and oxygen to your cells and carry away waste. This includes antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and water.

Other alternatives with out water would be as follows:

Tip #1: Eat fruits and vegetables. Eat at least 2-3 servings of fruits and vegetables at each meal.

Tip #2: Eat less meat. Meat is harder to digest. That forces your kidneys to work harder. If you eat less meat, you can replace it with more vegetables.

Tip #3: Drink green smoothies. If you add this to your daily morning routine, you will immediately feel a difference in your body. Green smoothies, if done properly, are full of liquids, fruits, and vegetables all blended up so they’re easier to digest.

Tip #4: Cook with a high quality salt. Ditch your table salt and start using a high quality sea salt of Himalayan salt, which are rich in trace minerals. Sea salt is lower in sodium than table salt.

Tip #5: Drink herbal tea.

Tip #6: Get juicing! Drinking fresh vegetable and fruit juice is a great way to maximize your intake of liquids with the extra boost of nutrients. Green juice is like liquid nutrients, ready to be absorbed in your system quickly and efficiently.

Tip #7: Coconut water. Climb up your nearest coconut tree and crack open a young coconut. Okay that’s not exactly possible but the next best thing is to drink coconut water without the added sugars and preservatives. This is my favorite brand if I factor in quality, taste, and price. Stay away from brands that have any extra unnecessary ingredients. It should say “100% coconut water.”

Tip #8: Drink more soup. “When you add water to a bowl of vegetables as in soup, the soup has greater satiety than when the vegetables are eaten alone with a glass of water,”

Tip #9: Don’t drink more than 3 cups of coffee. Researches have shown that coffee is a diuretic and causes you to urinate more frequently. This translates to a dehydrated body. However, this only applies to those who drink a massive amount of coffee each day.
