Is it better to pursue a career that will bring you happiness or one to bring you money?

Some people believe it is better to pursue a job that'll bring you happiness but maybe not enough money to keep you comfortable. On the other hand you could argue that you'd be happier in a job you don't necessarily enjoy but brings in a ton of money. Andria’s Answer

You need a balance of both however after working for 30+ years i have to say happiness. if you are not happy with what you do you will hate what you do and learn to regret it. What are your passions in life? What do you care about? What is most important to you? Happiness or material things?

It takes time to get to a job that you love and you make good money. So i would suggest answering the above questions and you will probably answer your own question.

AJAY’s Answer

Like with everything else it boils down to 3 variables - what pays best? what are you good at? and what do you really enjoy? And the answer is always a common ground depending on your priorities in life at that time. Own experience has been you will generally be bale to land two of those at a time but never all three!
