Are there any good colleges for Film or Photography in the West Coast
I am aiming for a degree in Photography or Film, and I want to know if there are any colleges in the western coast of the United States and even Canada. #film #photography #digital-photography

there were only two colleges for Commercial Photography on the west coast when I was a student: Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara. That was a long time ago, but they still remain the most prestigious. Today there are many programs in two year institutions, some of which could give adequate training for entry to the profession.
Umm, Brooks is gone. They, like ITT Tech and the Art Institute, were also found to have made fraudulent claims to entice prospective students and free federal dollars.

I am sorry that Brooks is no longer around. It was certainly an important place for many professional photographers. I don't know what ITT is and would never have recommended it. I find it hard to believe that Art Center College of Design in Pasadena was involved in an deceptive practices and would like to see the evidence.

Art Center is one of the best schools in the country for commercial photography and UCLA is on of the best film schools.

Some of the best film colleges are in the Los Angeles area.. Consider USC, UCLA, AFI, Chapman University (Dodge College). Best of luck!
