Edison’s Answer

Generally speaking, and this is coming from me utilizing the services, I have learned that in a Vet practice/ the Vets has different specialties- obviously the more you study a specialty and practice that the better you’ll be.

Recently my dog broke her hip- I took her to the vet! In the vet office, I went through the analysis and observation tech, to the X-Ray tech- then an internal medicine Vet, who sent me to another practice- the surgical vets- -at the surgical vet level- there were also layers of both technical and specialty- I spoke to three Vets before o found the one I needed to have a hip replacement for my small terrier-

My advice is to find what area interest you and perhaps volunteer at your local Vet hospital- you will learn quickly where you’d like to be! Also how much money the discipline you’d be choosing pays-

Edison recommends the following next steps:

Find a local Vet Hospital or clinic Volunteer your time
Find internship programs for you to explore
Work in all areas of the Veterinary world
Internships work best in order to know
