what are good schools for nursing programs?

My name is Kendall, and i would like to go to college for nursing. i don't know any colleges with good nursing programs and would like some recommendations for some schools.

York Tech also has a bridge or transfer program so you can begin a Bachelor's degree at York Tech and finish at University of South Carolina

I live in SoCal so I can’t suggest specific schools but I will tell you this, whether you decide to go ADN or BSN route, make sure you research your schools. I know a lot of hospitals prefer BSN and there’s a lot of talk that hospitals won’t hire you without one, but I went ADN route, got a job, and then did my BSN online in 6 months. I came out of nursing school with zero debt and zero loans. If that’s important to you, definitely look into the best community colleges that offer the best nursing schools. If not, simply googling universities around you if you want to stay local. If you want to venture out, maybe your school counselor can help! If not, try volunteering at your local hospitals, some volunteer gigs have you on a unit with nurses and you can always ask them which schools they went to. Or call the schools directly, see if they’ll take questions over the phone or email about their programs.

I would recommend any school that offers a bachelor of science in nursing, as opposed to an associate degree. Most major hospitals are moving towards employing RNs with a BSN degree and you will have the most opportunities that way. I live in California, so I can only speak to schools in my state. Nursing programs through both the CSU and UC systems are great.
