The Data Warehouse Toolkit: The Definitive Guide to Dimensional Modeling is considered is popularly refereed to as the Bible for Data Warehousing. Although we do not use the exact recommended practices in this book but it is a great book for getting your basic concepts and principles right about fundamentals of Data Warehousing
